I don’t mind if it isn’t part of a suite…Meaning I’m open to using multiple softwares.

It’s a Dell, normal-size, new-at-purchase pc. I have Norton Anti-virus, anti-spam, all that; and I do Full System Scans about 2-4 times per month. Every now and then I clear out all of my cookies and browsing history.

My connection isn’t always slow, but seems to be getting more and more that way, the longer I’ve had this computer. Sometimes restarting will help–although it takes forever to do that too. Sometimes out of frustration I will just hold down the power button on the computer to turn it off faster. It seems to have touble following my commands quickly, both with navigation and with turning it off.

Could this new slowness be caused by wireless users in my area? If so, how do I block them from using my connection? Is that even possible?

If that’s not the culprit, I don’t know what is. I really don’t want to buy a new computer right now. Thanks for any helpful advice.

I keep getting the same exact emails over and over for pills. I have tried everything! I upgraded to spam blocker plus, I’ve set filters for the exact words in the title and I still get the emails 4 or 5 times a day! Even with the words the filter is supposed to block! Can someone please suggest a good anti-spam program to go with yahoo! mail? This is driving me nuts!

For several days now (used to be just fine) Firefox makes me log in to Yahoo every time, regardless of the “keep me logged in” box being checked. IE seems to keep me logged in. I checked “accept cookies from sites” under Tools/Options in Firefox. Didn’t help.

Since around the same time, I sometimes now have to type a wavy series of letters/numbers (anti-spam security measure) before sending an email.

alright im getting spam pop ups every time I open a webpage or change the one im on. Its always either advertisements or dating websites so my parents think ive been goin to porn sites which I havent. We have anti spam popup blocker and 2 firewalls so I dont know how its getting in. Ive done searches of all sorts and a manual search to look for f***** up files and stuff but there arent any. Help?
